HELLO PEOPLE OF BIRTHDAY
After a pretty chilled out September (Rose went to Portugal, Camille went to America, Beattie stayed in her bedroom), we are back! Refreshed. Revitalised. Ready to comedy.
AND WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS TO TELL YOU (no, none of us are pregnant).
We are doing a run of PARTY VIBES at London’s SOHO THEATRE!!!
Photographed by the wow wow wow Sarah Cresswell
This December we will perform our super-fun smash-hit show PARTY VIBES for five nights only and WE NEED YOU THERE (otherwise we’ll look really pathetic and stupid which is the worst way to look in the festive season).
Bring your colleagues and get drunk on the back row, bring your friends and learn all our dance moves, bring your Gran and explain all the jokes to her in a really loud whisper. Whoever you bring we promise we will have the best and most rewarding time of our lives!
A humongous thank you to everyone who came to see PARTY VIBES at Cowgatehead at the Edinburgh Fringe this August. Even though our venue looked like a crack den and had no toilet backstage for our nervous pre-show poos we managed to cram over a hundred of you in every night. So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. We wouldn’t have got this run without you. Now please go forth and preach PARTY VIBES to the world.
Here’s the link to book tickets which you will obviously do RIGHT NOW!

Fans, friends, enemies. It’s going great here in Scotland, Edinburgh. The sun shines for seventy hours a day, the locals have taken us into their hearts and their homes (for just £3,000p/m) and the streets are paved with haggis. It stinks. It’s a health hazard. I don’t know why they would use haggis instead of concrete, it doesn’t make any sense.
Our shows have been going really well. We are having to turn people away at the door, because we don’t want it to be our fault if someone dies of being squashed. We don’t know why so many come. It must be because our venue looks like a crack den. Comedy fans love crack so much. It could also be because of how safe it is and they want to feel safe… NAAAHT
(But actually now it’s fine and all the problems have been ironed out and no one has died of falling through a floor hole or electrocution.)
So if you happen to be in Scotland Edinburgh Fringe Festival then come and see our show, Birthday Girls: Party Vibes, at Cowgatehead space 6 at 10pm every night. Come every night. Also BREAKING NEWS we’ve added an extra show! Friday the 15th at 11:30pm. We’ll be so tired it’ll be so much more fun!
We’re going to the Edinburgh Festival… again! It’s gonna be great and also really great and nothing but great.
We made a video about it and how excited we are about smelling it.
WHY DON’T YOU WATCH IT THEN?!?
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
ROSES ARE…. IN BIRTHDAY GIRLS AND THE NEW SKY TRAILER FOR MR. SLOANE!
Do celebrate this day of shallow advertising, dead-faced teddy bears and loveless cheap chocolate we post a trailer to warm your heart.
Here’s our lovely Rose being bloated and funny in a scene with Nick Frost and Olivia Colman.

Happy kind of nearly the end of January! Hasn’t it been DEPRESSING? No. No? WHY NOT? Because we have been eating cake and drinking gin and putting off our new year’s resolutions till the middle of the year dummies.
That pic is a still from a short film we did called Valentine, directed by the uber-cool and talented Kate Herron with Rob Savage DOP’ing the shit out of it.
It’s on at the London Comedy Film Festival this Sunday with a load of other shorts and you can get tix and info by clicking HERE.
WHAAAAT? It’s on at the cinema at 11am on a SUNDAY morning? Chill out guys. It’s just like being locked in at school over night. It will feel wrong and bad and exciting and dangerous and ultimately we’ll all feel glad we experienced it.
Here’s a link to an interview Kate did for Shooting People about the film and other bits…CLICK ME!
Hope to see you there!
P.S. We are doing a new material night VERY soon! INFO HERE!
Here is a short video of a sketch that we filmed with help from a man called Tom Levigne. Hope you like it!
Also remember to come to our gig on Thursday the 28th of November at the Kings Place! (details in last post)
